Slightly shocking start to the day
I woke up on Friday to find a small pool of dried blood in the centre of my palm. It was dark red and was flaking like the cheap poster paint you get at school. My hand had been cradling my ear to cushion it while I slept, and some blood must have run out of my ear and collected on my hand.
