Pancakes!

Some luck I have working with frenchies, I completely forgot it was pancake day until Jo invited me to a pancake party at hers.
I am going to stay in with the Lovely Boyfriend and make them at home. It has been a rather tumultuous few weeks, I daresay my life has sounded more like the plot of a soap opera than like a real person's life. Neighbours rather than Eastenders or Shoddyoaks, but dramatic nontheless. The Lovely Boyfriend's work announced redundancies yesterday, which for such a small company were scary. I knew he would be ok, because he is the hardworking genius master of the graphics and the typefonts. Thankfully I got an email from him 1/2 hour ago confirming my suspicions.
This leaves me free to concentrate on pancake recipes, I mean work. I am going to try really hard to do some uninterrupted work for at least ten minutes, no checking emails, no reading the Guardian or other people's blogs for 1/2 hour like petite anglaise (fraancofinn take note I think you would like it). So yes work, and then as I am antibiotic free for the first time in aaaages I can even take the Lovely Boyfriend out for a drink to celebrate the fact he still has a job!
