A french duke and a miserable Jazzman
Phil promised me a surprise yesterday as an early birthday treat. I had guessed it might be a Blind Date type activity (go-karting, glass-blowing, abseiling etc..). We walked into town and he made a sharp left straight to the Dome...to see...The Mighty Boosh!!
They were great and shambolic and weird and fun. My favourite part of seeing them live was the ridiculous improv where they basically slag each other off, why don't you visit Vince Noir and Howard Moons' respective web pages? The website is really good, take a look at the character page too.
What was really funny is that Steph my flatmate had asked me ages ago if I wanted to go as she had a spare ticket, so as she sauntered out of the front room with one of her friends from Shoreham I was left thinking... I'm sure she invited me, bloody...not fair..etc...
When all along she had to pretend she didn't know where I was going!! Ha! If she thinks that was masterful, she'd better wait till tomorrow night..we've organised a surprise 21st for her!
