Aye mi vida!! What is the world coming to!!

The news here is rubbish!! No wonder Americans are so stupid. In one news programme you will see a piece about a local robbery, or some other minor crime, a 'lifestyle' piece on a new diet, or new tattoo removal procedure and then some sport and some weather. I think ITV news would be considered hard hitting over here. Imagine if the local news replaced all main news bulletins and you had no information on the outside world...Madness! Thank god for the Guardian website.
