C'est le friday!!
I love John O'Farrell on fine form writing about Hazza Pozza:Waterstone's are opening at midnight tonight and I for one am determined to be there the moment the doors open and the crowds rush in. "Hello, I wonder if you can help me. I'm looking for something on the Franco-Prussian war." I am going to drink gin and tonic this evening, it is fine and sunny. Have been lent ESG cd to listen to. They are great. Really great.Spam is coming tomorrow and we are going to spend the whole weekend writing the play.
I'm free!!
From the tyranny of reading other people's blogs and wishing you had their lives...thanks to these people. Set the controls for the heart to the pelvis... Haven't you heard my name rhymes with Elvis?I can't wait till this play shit is over. I have spent so much time purposefully not having fun so i can write but I've hardly done anything. I'M GONNA DO IT NOW BYE.
Mmmm shanice looks like a peach!!
Ok, so i know I'm always putting up links but check this out!! its so wierd. Children with more make up on than Pauline from League of Gents!!!
None of these things are helping me get the play written.
Reading the rude stories on the Bint website.Checking my CV.Looking at the Vice website.Feeling hot.Trying to find my Adidas shorts.Posing in the mirror.Looking for vest to go with shorts.Putting leave-in conditioner in hair.Downloading Julie Doiron songs.Brushing hair.Posing in the mirror.
I can't commute to basingtoke, its two hours away.
I'm trying to find a job but there don't seem to be any for me. Good degree? they ask, nope, not really. I'm not even qualified enough for the crappy jobs that I don't want. But yesterday was ok, because yesterday was the sick day!! I walked home to lunch and stayed there, put leggings on, (Le Cashback!), had a bagel and herbal and hot choc/coffee/soya confection. I went on the computer, typed up some letters, listen to music, tidied my room. Boy did I tidy my room! I cleaned out all the cupboards, sorted through the boxes filled with random stuff that I can never normally face but could today because it was grey outside, I had leggings on, it was a weekday and I was in my lovely room in my lovely house, at home. Away from the wierd virtual reality zone that work seems like..god its sooo boring. It doesn't help when you're two new flatmates (but old friends) are both slacker unemployed bastards. And it certainly doesn't help spending all day at work reading about lives spent in bedrooms, smoking, in clubs, with friends on other people's weblogs you don't even know.
