My Crush With Eyeliner

How can I stand and laugh with the man who redefined your body??
I'm listening to Cold Blooded Old Times by Smog, its such a lovely song. The mystery song that I loved for...many years. Maybe seven. Then last year I found a tape with that song on in my house but it wasn't anyone's (grammar?), which was good. Then my old flatmate Leonard Hatred heard it a club and texted me to tell me what it was. Sweet Joy.
It was funny, I was sat in the canteen at work...ugh, and I had a sense of déjà vu. I was reading the Diary of Adrian Mole 'The Wilderness Years' (I thought I might pick up some survival tips..) and I remembered how 12 years ago (fuck!) I was sat in the school canteen reading the Diary of Adrian Mole aged 13 and whatever. The head of the British Section an amusing (although I was just scared of him because I was lazy, naughty, and late) man came up and told me what a good book that was. I was scared though, because of reasons outlined previously and also because I thought book was somehow rude..or slovenly. I think I was too young. Anyway back in the work canteen, well it was just a bit strange that's all really.

I've just come out of my yearly depression, I think, its just when winter is STILL dragging on plus a sense of pre-quarter life crisis (hence the Adrian Mole); but it might just be a fleeting respite (very poetic ms_moron!) because I've got a weekend of fun planned. It's Phil's birthday on Sunday, so we're all going to Hove Town Hall Ale Festival..sweet sweet festival. Its all Status Quo cover bands, big beardy men, Dungeons and Dragons playing nerds, young morons like myself, burgers and mash, free commmemorative glasses. Its beautiful.
Aaah, and now I'm listening to 'Bonnie and Clyde' by Serge Gainsbourg....mmmmm...and my flatmate has just given me a Creme Egg for no reason.

-Oh by the way, I don't think I'm that indie...it was more of a 'do you like Belle and Sebastian, red wine and charity shops?' quiz. Yes, yes, and thrice yes.

Rejoice, rejoice!!
