Seagulls are scary

Had a good bank holiday. Friday (hottest day of the year!!) was 'Taco Friday', and I invited Bee, Paul, Prawn, Olivia, Phil and Dave, Phil's flatmate, for a last-minute dinner party. It was really fun, Chris and Sam were in the front room but Alan joined in and we sat in the garden all evening. Got quite drunk and me and Alan had a fight, which culminated in him flicking red (unbenowsnt (Oh my god, I have totally made that spelling up..sorry) to him) wine and so in retaliation I poured a large amount of juice on him. Stupidness aside it was real cool.
Saturday me and Phil took the train to Hastings for a charity shop spree. The two best ones were shut (bastards!) but got quite a few good things. We were ravenous so Phil got fish and chips and I got battered sausage, pie, and chips; but I wish I had got fish, sausage and chips...mmm I'm hungry. We took our food to the beach, by now we were delirious with hunger and sat down on the beach scoffing our greasy food; before long we were surrounded by an ever increasing number of seagulls. There must have been about 20 of them, all staring at us with their dead little eyes, it done spooked me some. Forgot how pretty the old town is, we walked arm in arm through the little lanes and old junk/antique shops where I got another old ...AGH! what are they called...sew on badges..anyway they make good coasters.
We rushed back to Brighton and got ready to go out to Detournement where they played so many good songs, they played Pavement's old hit 'Stereo' which, as I loudly said many times that night I hadn't heard since I was a teenager. Charlie, Weejay, Amelia, and Duncan were there as well as Jo and all them, so was Jacob but I didn't even realise till I was leaving because they wouldn't let him on the dancefloor on account of his wheelchair. Fuckers.
Sunday morning, feeling a bit worse for wear, we met up with Fran who had come down from London and went to the Prestonville for lunch (and dessert). Was good to see her again, wearing her designer necklace. Watched American Splendour, ate toritlla chips and salsa and drank gin on sunday night...lovely!
I've just been mostly tidying my room tonight, sorting out clothes for e-bay, clothes for bin, clothes for mending..so many clothes.

YAA-AAYYYYY!!!

Whats that you say? Yes it is late...No, I'm not at work..
I've finally got me own computer and its online and wireless. Woot!
I am filling in a job application form instead of watching Desperate housewives, Grrr!
..And listening to a bad Radio4 play. Why do they have to be so clunky? Its my mission to write a good play, without any spuddy rubbish american accents, or vicars, or children catching tadpoles in ponds...Hang on, I quite like those plays.

They're axing the Westway! Its good but only listened to by foreigns or insomniacs.
Bee is back from Canada and we went to see She Said last night with our respective life partners/boyfs. I saw them last april and they were so good I thought I'd probably be disappointed this time round, but despite being more chilled out and slightly folkier they still had dark black, defiant blood running through their veins. Anyway after that we went to the Spiegeltent and had a little dance in the mirrored, wooden tent.

I've even been on http://suicidegirls.com/ looking at naked ladies, just because I can! Ha!

Wonderful people I'm thankful that you found me!

Who saw George Galloway on telly? He sure gave those Yanks a run for their money! Whoo! Ok so I'm getting a bit excited, but it was just lovely to hear some of the things he said about the war etc..

AAAGGGHHHHHHH!!!

Friday morning, I have received an email telling me I have made a mistake when debited the SE for two Chargebacks on th UK queue as valid support was in another case (how am I supposed to know that???). So I have to do a debit reversal in GUSLD, which I can't even remember how to do and no one even left any Case Notes or axp refs. And it is my fault for being rubbish, but the worst thing is that you don't even have a clue what I'm talking about!!!

Why can't I be loved as I am, a wolf among wolves and not as a man

I didn't get the job, so I've been listening to BPB 'A wolf among wolves' on repeat http://www.dominorecordco.com/site/index.php?page=multimedia&artistID=39&view=audio

Which is suitably sad. Tonight I will make up for it by playing Chicks On Speed, Le Tigre, Seafood, Lady Sovereign and others bolshy shouty music at jack's night.

Best new website

How cool is that?
Love it.
Had horrible migraine yesterday, worst migraine EVER! (and show) couldn't see for 1/2 hour...further indication that I should stop working in an office.

This one's for Saara

Sooo....writing under duress. How does one go about this?
I had an interview on thursday at the museum, if I don't get it I think I might just jack in the office job and do waitressing or barwork.
Had a nice bank hol, I honestly think they should be more in line with rest of world (we get 8, Italy gets 16, Slovenia/vakia (can't remember) gets 18! 18 bank holidays!! (By the way this isn't my fact I read it in a magazine, I really hate it when people quote stuff directly passing it off as their own) everyone was saying to me, well at least we get to live in England..Eugh whateva!!!!)
Going to buy my computer real soon. Have saved all my christmas and birthday money, plus while tidying my room last night found my deposit cheque from my land lord..Wheeeee!!! Plain sailing. I now have approximately 500 pounds, woot.
That means once i get my computer i can set about blogging the shit out of my life and trying to make mes a website.
